About

Grammy Award-watching Brenna Carroll is a singer/songwriter, a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, she’s won awards such as Best Popular Voice and Best Female Vocalist. Her album, Gallery, was released in April 2018, following her self-titled debut EP. Brenna finds inspiration from a myriad of places which contributes to her contemporary yet retro sound. Her new single, 'Something' is a divine and raw release to follow her previous evocative works and that will no doubt highlight her talent as one of the finest up-and-coming songwriters of the year.

MY MUSIC

A way for me to have meaningful conversations with total strangers. I hate small talk. My songs are personal, but my hope is that they tap into feelings and experiences many people can relate to. That, and a pure love of music, is why I do what I do.

WHO INSPIRES ME
I’m obsessed with Carole King — her life story and her music. Tapestry was the first time she wrote her own lyrics, and they’re just amazing. Her music is so bittersweet. I would love to sit down and have a drink with her. Also: Judy Collins, Joni Mitchell, Patsy Cline, Joss Stone, Stevie Nicks, Grace Slick and Ella Fitzgerald.

FUN FACT
I’m horrendously bad at jazz hands.
